6th September - Lake Como

6th September - LIMONTA
We woke to a cloudy sunrise at 6:56am. The breeze was cool and you could hear the bells ring from the local church in the distance. Mum, Dad and Tom slept in until 8am, then went down to the supermarket to buy the weeks food.  When they returned we had breakfast and got organised and decided that today we would take the slow ferry down to Lake Como.  The ferry ride took 2 hours and stopped at beautiful little towns on the way down.
The views and the towns are beautiful, you don’t know where to look next.  We arrived in Como (mum was looking for George Clooneys villa) so many to choose from!!!  Como is quite a large town, with a lot of shops and boats etc.  Today we had maccas for lunch Euro 27 for all of us, not too bad.  We finally found an internet stick in vodafone so we can update the blog daily now.  Had a look around at the shops and had a gelato and made our way back to Bellagio on the fast ferry (1 hour).   We arrived back and went for a walk down to the Ponto which has amazing views of the lake and some magnificent houses, then we left and mum cooked up some pasta for dinner.  Boys watched Casino Royal and I did the blog.  Tomorrow we are going to the beach down the road and will have a lazy day.
