7th September - Rainy Day and cool 18 degrees

We awoke to a rainy day with lots of cloud and a cooler than usual.  We had a lazy morning, boys played games, and mum did some ironing and washing.  We decided to go for a drive at about 12 noon up into the mountains.  We drove along the coast from Bellagio heading towards Como, and took a side road from Nesso up high into the mountains, there was great views from up here and heaps of fog!! We drove up to Magreglio and came across The Church of the Madonna del Ghisallo, dedicated to the patron saint of cyclists, with framed cycling shirts, bikes and memorabilia inside. We stopped at a cafe and had a hot chocolate, which was like drinking a block of melted chocolate in a cup, very rich.  We followed the road back down and back home to Limonta. We drove into Bellagio and had a quick dinner and went to the internet cafe to do our travel blog.  We made our way home and the boys watched Harry Potter.  Mum checked her emails and we went to bed, a little late tonight.
